Nivea Sparkling White Acne Oil Control

It’s already been a few good months since I started using Nivea’s Sparkling White Acne oil control cleanser and I must say that this is one of the products that I would really swear by and probably use for the rest of my life! And I’m not even exaggerating when I said that, lol. It’s that good! 

During the first two weeks, I used it interchangeably along with my old cleanser which is Etude House’s Happy Teatime in Lemon (for oily skin) just so my face would adjust to the new cleanser. I’m not sure whether what I did was wrong or not but I just felt like doing it that way. I got a few pimples then and I was wondering whether using Nivea’s cleanser was a bad thing, but I still used it since it would be such a waste not to, I mean its new and I felt like I should give it a fair try before giving up. One thing I loved about it the most was the smell. It was floral and I really loved smelling it while washing my face <3. Good thing tough that I continued using it because as days passed by I noticed how my skin got less oily especially my T-zone. Most days (right now) I don’t even use a powder anymore. I still do get oily but that would be like after about 6 hours or so? And not even as oily like how I would be before. I still get a few pimples from time to time especially when THAT time of the month comes, or from some new facial product I used or probably stress, but it’s considerably lesser from the amount of pimples I got before. This may sound really biased but I don’t have anything negative to say about this product. I’m not being paid by Nivea to praise their product by the way, just so you know, I just seriously like this product so much! :D

It’s really affordable too! Only P125 for 100g and I’m still on my first tube as of right now, it doesn’t run out fast~ :D, and i think the one in 50g is only P50. One thing though, I found that this product was a bit hard to find? I didn’t find it in a lot of shops/ drugstore while I was looking for it but finally found one at SM Fairview’s dept store, at the Watson area to be specific. It wasn’t available on Mercury drug, Landmark, Ever, and also at the separate Watson store at SM Fairview and SM North.. orz.. 

Nature Republic's Flower waltz Nail Polish Remover

I decided to review my Nature Republic’s  Flower Waltz Nail Polish remover, just so I could fill in my 15 posts requirement to myself per month (orz, very honest aren’t i? XD).This nail polish remover was again part of the things I bought from NR way back last year. I didn’t get to try it much since I’m not really into using nail polish a lot, but I bought it just so I’d have something to use whenever I do use a nail polish and because I don’t like using the over the counter acetone sold in most drugstores because they make my nails dry and leaves this white stuff off.

It comes in a 100 ml bottle and is priced for only P64.00. This is pink as you can see and smells floral. I think they have another variant that comes in orange, I forgot the name, but that one smells fruity instead.

I used these NR polishes for this review. The pink one is a basecoat. I don’t know the exact name for the silver one because I can’t find the name/number on the bottle. So maybe this is the only silver polish they probably produce? I have no idea.

I applied both the basecoat and 2 coats of the silver polish, no top coat though because I can’t open it for some reason, and put some of the nail polish remover on a small piece of cotton. I let the nail polish dry so its a bit harder.

Put the cotton over my nail, pressed it a bit then waited for a few seconds.

Lifted it~ and almost everything came off except for the tiny glitters that came with the nail polish~

Mandatory layout changes?

With the coming of the mandatory profile layout changes from both Youtube and Facebook, I immediately took screencaps of both of my profile pages there just so I could have something to remember them with. I say why push through with the change when almost everyone is very much opposed against it? I’m talking about the facebook timeline rn, almost all of my friends especially those who accidentally changed their profile to timeline doesn’t like it. Some won’t even go to profiles with the timeline on and some threatens to not go facebooking (is there such a word?) anymore if Facebook if facebook would push through with the timeline.

But as Ive learned before, there is no use stopping the inevitable. Once I saw the news about FB launching the timeline I was already pretty sure that we would all be doomed to use it one day and to confirm this Yahoo released an article a while ago saying how in the next few days Facebook is making the layout change mandatory, much to everyone’s disappointment. Youtube has also announced that their profile/channel layout change be mandatory on March 7, I think, it used to be optional just like with the Facebook timeline.

I guess it wouldn’t be all bad. In time we’ll probably learn to work with it just like with the other past layout changes. Hopefully. We can only reminisce the past and so I’ll give myself something to reminisce with when I feel like it. Seminar @ NKTI

I had my first ever nursing seminar last January 24 at NKTI. Most of my friends probably had a LOT of seminars by now. I don’t know why I can’t be bothered to go to seminars before.. lol anyway so yeah this is my first. My friend  Ara was actually the person who told me about this and I immediately agreed to because I realized that I have no seminars yet. For the month of January NKTI offered to conduct 3 seminars. I won’t post the links anymore since the seminars are already over anyway. I went to the 2^nd day of their seminar because I wasn’t able to tall my mom about it before the first day, I only remembered on the actual day >__>.  Ara wasn’t supposed to go to the 2^nd day so I asked Juice if she’s available that day, she said yes and then Ara was suddenly available too so there were 3 of us who went to that seminar that day (picture above: Juice, Me, Ara).

New phone~ /Alcatel OT-813D

I bought a new phone a week ago~ <3 Its ALCATEL One Touch 813D. I was never interested in Alcatel phones before, but I was really intrigued when first saw this phone from my friend Angeli during the ZE:A mall tour and I immediately liked it when I learned that it’s a touch and type phone that supports the use of dual sim as well! :D I had been looking for a nice looking dual sim phone before, since my other phone broke and I always feel so lazy charging two phones, so seeing this phone was like a godsend to me~ I researched about it when I got home and saw that the price was only Php 3,399.00! Really affordable for a phone that supports wi-fi plus other awesome features :D.

The box as you can see at the picture above doesn’t look like the typical box that usually cases a phone because in here we can actually see and inspect the unit without having to open the box. It makes it more interesting and I guess time saving as well especially on the part of the seller, haha. The phone comes in 5 colors and obviously I got the red one, because the other colors aren’t available then. I would have picked the purple one if I got a choice because Angie’s phone is also red.

Anyway so inside this tiny box were the phone of course, a manual, warranty and the usual accessories. I never would’ve thought that all the accessories would fit inside this especially when it looks so small and as if the phone had occupied all the space. 

Not really a fan of qwerty phones, but its tolerable *shrug*. The cover has a velvety feel

and not glossy so I wont have to worry about making any finger marks on it.

I don’t like that the manual/guide comes in this folded paper thingy, I mean a booklet would’ve been better! And it doesn’t really cover everything there is to know about the phone. I researched about the phone’s guide on the net and found one on Alcatel’s website and I think there were almost a hundred pages in that pdf? Come on alcatel, print it in a booklet type why don’t you?

•  lack of games (THERE IS NO GAME ON THE PHONE, but you can download some on the internet)
•  lack of settings for just about anything about it that I would’ve wanted to change (I think….)  
• it only reads .txt and .pdb files for ebooks (doesn’t most ebook comes in .pdf and .lit files?) plus I have no idea how to put the ebook there without having to go on the internet on my phone first
•  it doesn’t play the music continuously (or maybe I’m just not that familiar with it yet) and I have to play the song first for it to be put on my ‘playlist ’ and not just add it there randomly
•  it won’t view ‘too large’ pictures that my other phone can view just fine
• the pictures it takes are just too LQ for a 2mp, compared to my other phone which is also 2mp. Everything just looks so gray and dull, changing the settings doesn’t even help.
• the micro sd is placed at the back part before the battery, so I have to turn the phone off everytime I have to take it off and use my other one..

Just that and a bunch of other minor stuff no one really needs to know.

You might think that I probably regret buying this phone with all the negative stuff I listed, but no, I just love to complain is all. I still think that its pro’s outweighs the cons no matter what and the things I don’t like about it isn’t really that important anyway. 

And oh, btw I forgot to mention that its battery will last up to 3 days with standard use (up to 4 days in my case) but probably less than a day with the wi-fi and bluetooth open, and of course with heavy usage (audios, videos and games). Uhmm, I guess that’s it, I don’t know what else to say. Feel free to ask me if you have questions J, I’ll do my best to answer it as long as I can. 

NO TO SOPA AND PIPA!

I wasn't aware of both SOPA and PIPA until Wikipedia suddenly had its blackout protest against it a few days ago and thankfully Wikipedia did or else i wouldn't have been aware of this certain thing that concerns me a lot. I am against it. I am aware that this is certain law is being made in the US and i may be living in  the Philippines, but it is something that concerns everybody around the world, especially those who uses the internet as much as i do. It inhibits my rights in a lot of ways and for what reason? Just so the companies concerned could benefit from all these? Just so they could do all selfish acts just because they could? Don't they see how much bad things can stem out of all this? I know they are doing this out of a good intention but it can't be all good when almost everyone can point out something bad in all this.

Is Lamar Smith getting paid by the companies for pushing this act or something? I hope the US Congress would listen to what the people has to say and not just solely discuss everything by themselves. They probably aren't using the internet as much as some of us do for all i know. They could easily say YES to something like this just because it doesn't concern them and want to get it over with. I know that they would probably take in experts to explain some things they don't understand but in my opinion the experts alone isn't enough, they must heed the rest of the world too. You are in your position for a reason so please be selfless and think of the people who really cares about this. PLEASE. This isn't democratic at all.

For those who are still unaware of what SOPA is, Gizmodo wrote a really good article about it. Please read :) The truth in Gizmodo's article that irked me the most was this..

Bought a new book again yesterday~ :D Remember the other books i bought before? I never did read them, never got around to it, yeah that excuse again hahaha. But i'm going to read them for sure! :D Promise~ I actually saw this book yesterday while i was waiting for Ara at the bookstore. The cover attracted me especially when i saw the New York Times Bestseller part, so i hurriedly read the description at the back. The story's pretty intriguing and i realized that it was cheap too when i checked the price! Only Php349.00 for a paperback bestseller~ and obviously i immediately bought it. I'm gonna try to finish it later!

Anyway, as i was researching about this earlier, i learned that they were gonna make it into a movie this year! There was no list of the cast yet and the movie is still in its developing stage. I seriously hope it pushes through because I am so looking forward to watching this movie! Learning about the movie also made me more excited to read the book.. <3

Maundy Thursday

A few days ago I eventually got around to watching Maundy Thursday. I first posted about it a few months ago when i was reading Watashitachi no Shiawase na Jikan. I was supposed to watch it then but you know how lazy i can sometimes get, lol.. plus I have no more space on my lappy and my HD was broken *EXCUSESEXCUSESEXCUSES* so i never got around to downloading it in the first place~ :/ booo~. Good thing i found it uploaded on Youtube (yay! for the awesome uploader~) uploaded in a bunch of parts (who was i to complain? hahaha). Anyway so after watching the movie i became a fan of not only Lee Na-Young, i had always been her fan to begin with, but of Kang Dong-Won as well! I mean I've seen some of his movies before, but never actually noticed him nor liked him all that much.. i was probably blind then to not see what a precious specie he really was :P Joowon really does look like him too! <3 and get this, we share the same birthdate!! *dies*~~ hehe..

Just a day, just an ordinary day.....

WARNING "DRAMA/OBSESSED" POST BELOW :P

Every year, about a few days, sometimes even weeks before my birthday, i make sure that i get to delete or just simply hide my birth date on facebook. I don't really like being greeted. There was this one time when i was still in college, our class president suddenly announced that it was my birthday that day and i was really mortified and 'looked at her like i was gonna kill her' (according to her, cause were actually friends). I would always wish that i could sleep the whole day and just skip everything and wake to see another day, one that isn't my birthday. I have no idea since when i had been feeling like this or why i even feel like this. But I just don't feel like celebrating anything. I even consider this day th one i hate the most. *shrug*. Anyway so since  i tend to hide my birth date the only people who usually greets me are those who actually remembers, usually just my close friends. I really appreciate it when they do remember and so this post is actually for those people who took the time to greet me.

Out of everyone who greeted me, i appreciate the greeting from Gysia the most, and she was the first one who greeted me too! lol.. I appreciate it simply because were not exactly close (yeah and because i really like her lol), but she made it to a point to greet me, and that was really touching. I know my birthday was still publicly seen then, but i still really appreciate it :).

ZE:A @ Trinoma

Last January 12, the first leg of ZE:A's 3 day mall tour here in the Philippines had started. And since Trinoma is just 1 ride away from our house i saw no reason why i shouldn't go. Plus, its not often they set up mall tours for Kpop acts here and my friends from Zamboanga even schedule flights just so they could go to the mall tour! haha.. Okay so first off i wanted to say that i'm no ZE:A fan. I mean i know them from watching various variety shows especially when they were at Idol league with UKISS before (Kiss Me here.. lol..) and i've watched a few of their videos and listened to some of their songs too, but sadly i just never got into them like i did with Arashi or Ukiss. After the malltour nothing really changed, but i guess they became a bit more special since i got to see some of the members in person :).

I was supposed to be at the mall at 6:00 in the morning though it opens at about 10, i have to get there early since mall tours are known for having really LONG lines and some fans would be there at wee hours of the morning. I got there 30 minutes late since the jeep i was riding suddenly freakin stopped in the middle of the highway and i had to find a taxi to ride in going to there because its almost impossible to find a jeep to Trinoma in that area at that time. Talk about waste of money.. >__> orz. So yeah i reached Trinoma at about 6:30 and waited at the entrance of the grocery area, though i was informed that the fans were lining up at the MRT entrance, since it opens a bit earlier than the rest of the mall. I told my friends whom i was supposed to meet to go to the grocery area instead too. I was almost really mad because they got there at about 8:30! I have been waiting there alone for about two hours, but i have to understand since they had to send their Japanese friend Kenta to his father's home, oh well.. :/ So anyway, when they finally arrived and the entrance was open and all, we then went to the event center and realized that we were the first ones in there! We were so happy that our waiting paid off when one of the organizers told us that we have to go line up with the other fangirls at the MRT entrance. I was like 'wtf! those arent in any rules!' and was already thinking of how many girls were in there or if we would even get the chance to be in the 1st 100 who would get the VIP seats. But i was surprised when i got outside because there were like only 30 fangirls and boys in there! So much for the supposed long line i was anticipating. orz, i shouldn't have gone there so early and just lined up when the mall was about to open >_> *sighs*.

After we got in to the mall we lined up to buy the album then waited around the area because they would let us in the seated area at around six in the afternoon since the event would start at 7. We got VIP tickets btw, so i guess waiting still paid off! <3 haha.. We were seated at the 2nd row at the left side and the show eventually started about 30 minutes after we got inside. We learned of the boys' entrance when the fans at the back part of the stage started screaming. The boys would often say something at the mic while at the backstage and everyone would scream really loudly. I forgot what exactly it was they said, i think it was 'Hi' or some random tagalog word, i'm not sure.

All pink for January~

LOL, seeing the title you'd think i was talking about clothes or something. Nah, i was just talking about random stuff that i got. For some reason i got more new pink items this month than any other colors. I don't know if i unconsciously pick out stuff in pink or whether i just really like the color, haha. But yeah whatever the reason is pink is this the color that stands out this month. /redundant

This mini deskfan was actually just given to me by my uncle and what i love about it the most is 

the fact that its from Korea~ and its really cute XD And it doesn't have the usual many buttons

like some of the electricfans here does. It just got this one circle button that you push to the

sides of your preferred..... temperature i guess? (forgot the term orz)

A pair of pink heart earrings, just because i have no earrings left. I keep on losing them. *sigh~*

My weekly scheduler, planner, the ribbon from Korea given by Xands, my Ukiss baller, and the 

VS spray are all in pink too~ XD I probably wont be using the spray though, cause i dont really

like using sprays, colognes, perfumes and those type of stuff because they make me nauseous >_<

Roses are red and money trees are green

Watering them every single day finally paid off~ yay!! hahaha.. I'm not even sure whether its supposed to be everyday but since one of my roses finally bloomed then i guess that's a good thing. I have no idea why there's only one, but i'm still grateful <3 :D

Here's a picture of my money tree too~ I know its supposed to be an indoor plant and all but i like putting it outside with the other plants lol.. Its not like it gets damaged or anything anyway. Out of all the plants that i have this is my most favorite and I'm always on the look out for 7 leaves in 1 stem cause i was told that its really lucky. :D

Looking into 2012!

I know its already been a few days since the new year had started but its still never too late to post my resolutions and such for this year XD. I am seriously known for not sticking to them, it still doesn't hurt to make some anyway, and who knows whether i might actually do them this year.. lol. Its a new year afterall. I'm gonna list only 10 as of now~ will add more after some time but i'll make sure that i do these first.. I'll try to make them as concrete as possible..

1. Learn how to manage my time well. PROCRASTINATION U MY ENEMY THIS YEAR!
2. Sleep before midnight, wake up and be on time whenever and wherever i'm supposed to be.
3. ALWAYS go to church. Try not to miss anyday, whether im busy or not. God ♥
4. Lessen my computer/ internet use. An hour should be enough, 3 hours max! o___o
5. Save my money and not buy useless stuff as much as possible.
6. Clean my room whenever i can. >_<
7. Finish all my list of to do's on time!
8. Don't even think about changing my so called career this year.. no matter how hard it may get.
9. Try to be positive at all times and lessen my complaining.
10. Don't eat too much and maintain my weight~ :))

THINGS I must have/ buy all these before the end the year~

everybody uses >__> poor me~ and yeah an dslr too! :)

Not exactly an iphone, but a new phone in general just because my other phone 

broke a few days ago due to a slight 'accident' :(

A 5 level dresser much like this one, just because i'm not contented with my cabinet..

New external HD, cause my old one broke. I'd need this unless

 i can get the other one fixed. 500GB minimum.

Possibly a new laptop too? I love my current laptop but i have a very strong 

feeling that its not gonna last that long :/ well hopefully that doesn't happen.

Well that's it for me folks~ will update my list of things to buy when i think of what more i should add. Will try to blog more this year too! I actually have this minimum of 15 posts per month that i try to stick with, lol.. but that may lessen to 10 during busy months? Who cares anyway lol, i'm the only one who read this.. *shrug*
