Okay enough fangirling, lol.. first off i wanted to share the links i found on Youtube for those who wants to watch the movie as well :D
In watching the movie i realized that there were some parts that differs from the manga which was understandable because the manga itself was based off the movie and Sahara Mizu probably changed some information so the story would be more heartbreaking, i can't be sure because i didn't actually get to read the book where the movie was based from yet. Speaking of the parts that differ from the manga, most of them were were minor parts that didn't change the movie/manga (ugh i'm confused as to what to refer to) as a whole. Anyway so since i'm having a hard time narrating and referring to stuff i'll just post the differences in bullets :P *fail*
- The reason why Yun-soo was imprisoned and was given a death sentence. In the movie the reason was because he killed the maid of the woman he was stealing from and he even took his friend's murder charges (the friend killed both teh woman and her daughter), ugh what an idiot. And btw, he was stealing because his girlfriend had an ectopic pregnancy and they don't have money for hospital bills so his friend who wont give back the money he lent before just encouraged him to steal from this rich moneylender they know. In the manga, he killed mostly for revenge, okay i wont elaborate anymore since i forgot the details.. lol..
- The person who raped Yu-jeong. In the movie it was his cousin while it was her piano teacher in the manga.
- Yu-jeong's old 'profession'. In the movie, she used to be a singer while she was a really famous pianist in the manga.
There were some other changes too but i think they were too minor? Okay i'm just being lazy again, lol.. uhmm.. One negative though, i think the movie became was a bit draggy especially in the middle part, but that was just my opinion. I wasn't sure if it was because i already have an idea about the story, but while i was watching the movie i seriously had this feeling that if i didn't know the story and how awesomely heartbreaking it was i would've stopped watching it before it ended. But then again that's just my opinion too. As expected the ending made me tear up like the world is ending *knocks on wood*, and in my opinion any movie that made me cry is awesome! So overall, no matter how draggy i thought the movie was it was still awesome, not to mention the real life lessons that everyone can learn from <3. And should I add that Kang Dongwon was seriously hot and adorable in the movie? *total convert here* xD..
