Nivea haul

Stocked up on my Nivea necessities.. haha see how much i love this brand~? lol.. Eversince i tried The smallest Extra whitening cell repair and protect that i got as a prize from the Face affair challenge, i was hooked, so i got the biggest container so i wont run out of it easily! It leaves my skin feeling smooth and not sticky~. I haven't actually tried their Whitening toner before, but i guess i will soon. :D Got another tube of my favorite cleanser though i haven't finished my first one yet, there's still about half the tube left i think? And the Extra whitening deodorant is something ive been using for years~ :D Yay for Nivea~ I should make a review of these when i'm not doing anything.. haha..

Also got a few other 'needed' stuff.. i just realized that most of the stuff i bought are pink.. lol..

My Prize~

Remember how I won as one of Nivea’s daily winner for the fair affair challenge last December? I only got my prize last Tuesday (Feb 28) because I kept on procrastinating on getting it before until I eventually forgot about it. Fortunately a friend asked me about it a week ago so I immediately contacted Nivea and inquired whether I could still get the prize, the said yes but only until the 29^th of this month. So since I had free time last Tuesday I decided to go on and get it already.

I initially had no idea where their office was so thank god for all the directions they had given me plus the awesomeness of google map~ I have no car and can’t risk commuting and getting lost so I only walked til I reached their office. You can imagine how haggard looking I was when I reached it because I didn’t realize that it was that far from the main highway.. orz. I only had to sign something and show them a valid ID then finally got my prize. I immediately went home after~ :D

Being a daily winner I won Php1000 worth of Nivea and Majolica Majorca products. The paper bag I got from them contains these four products (below): Nivea Extra Whitening Cell Repair & Protect (125ml), Nivea Visage Sparkling White Acne oil control (25ml), Nivea Extra Whitening Deodorant (25ml) and Majolica Majorca’s Honey Pump Gloss Neo.

It’s already been a few good months since I started using Nivea’s Sparkling White Acne oil control cleanser and I must say that this is one of the products that I would really swear by and probably use for the rest of my life! And I’m not even exaggerating when I said that, lol. It’s that good! 

During the first two weeks, I used it interchangeably along with my old cleanser which is Etude House’s Happy Teatime in Lemon (for oily skin) just so my face would adjust to the new cleanser. I’m not sure whether what I did was wrong or not but I just felt like doing it that way. I got a few pimples then and I was wondering whether using Nivea’s cleanser was a bad thing, but I still used it since it would be such a waste not to, I mean its new and I felt like I should give it a fair try before giving up. One thing I loved about it the most was the smell. It was floral and I really loved smelling it while washing my face <3. Good thing tough that I continued using it because as days passed by I noticed how my skin got less oily especially my T-zone. Most days (right now) I don’t even use a powder anymore. I still do get oily but that would be like after about 6 hours or so? And not even as oily like how I would be before. I still get a few pimples from time to time especially when THAT time of the month comes, or from some new facial product I used or probably stress, but it’s considerably lesser from the amount of pimples I got before. This may sound really biased but I don’t have anything negative to say about this product. I’m not being paid by Nivea to praise their product by the way, just so you know, I just seriously like this product so much! :D

It’s really affordable too! Only P125 for 100g and I’m still on my first tube as of right now, it doesn’t run out fast~ :D, and i think the one in 50g is only P50. One thing though, I found that this product was a bit hard to find? I didn’t find it in a lot of shops/ drugstore while I was looking for it but finally found one at SM Fairview’s dept store, at the Watson area to be specific. It wasn’t available on Mercury drug, Landmark, Ever, and also at the separate Watson store at SM Fairview and SM North.. orz..

I wrote about Nivea's Face Affair challenge in one of my previous posts and i did mention that i wont enter because they already might have picked the winners, but they still haven't as it turns out so i submitted my entry afterall. Of course i would have wanted to win the grand prize but then i probably would be too nervous with the photoshoot and meeting my favorite bloggers and all so i guess a part of me is still happy that i didn't and I still won anyway didn't i? <3 

What makes me happy the most is that i won though my entry was sent in days late (they gave me a chance to still send in mine because the submission thingy wasn't working right when i was going to send it, thus i wasn't able to send through the deadline) and because i wasn't expecting anything at all! The picture i sent was pretty fail too! I just took it myself so it was in a weird angle.. lol.. I'M JUST REALLY HAPPY~ ^___________^ Thank you Nivea Philippines~

They announced this a few hours ago and i don't have an idea how to claim the prize, no instructions about that yet *shrug*. Maybe they'll send us an email about it later. ^__^v

Nivea's Face Affair Challenge

A few weeks ago i learned that Nivea Philippines is going to have a Face Affair contest and i decided to join, but somehow i can't find their acne oil control anywhere! Good thing i went to SMF a day before the deadline and found it there. I was late in submitting my entry because i had to buy a new card reader (old one suddenly doesn't want to work). Anyway so during the last few hours when i was trying to submit my entry, the interface just wont stop 'processing' and it kept on being like that til past midnight. In the end i ended up not being able to submit anything at all. 

The next day i saw on this one post on Nivea's wall that we could send in our entry to their email but i never bothered to send mine since it was way past the deadline.. i guess it was my fault for not seeing that certain comment (the one from the girl having the same issues as i was) so i just commented about not knowing about how we could sent through email. Earlier (few days had passed since my comment) they replied that i send my concerns to their email. I sent them an email about it, but i dont think that it would be of any use since they already probably picked a winner *shrug*. They told me that they would consider what i said, i sent another email saying that they dont need to consider anything since i wasn't able to pass my entry anyway. I have no idea on what they'll tell me or if they would even reply to me again, but i don't really care either way. I never hoped to win anything anyway, haha.. i just want to join just for the sake of joining. :D No hard feelings here.. :)
