Remember last March, how i said that i was to go to Lauren Oliver's Book signing here in the Philippines? I did go and well everything was awesome especially Lauren. I wouldn't make a long post about everything that happened but just post pictures (most of it is a bit blurry though, sorry~ this is the best it could get) and let the event speak for itself :). I took a video of her while she was being interviewed too but its too big of a file and i can't seem to upload it anywhere :(

Tadaima~ :D
Finally! after about a hundred years of not blogging (yeah i exaggerate too much~ :P) here i am again~ Well at first i was just seriously busy because i had to transfer to the dorm near the place where my training is currently ongoing. With all the crazy shifts that i've been assigned with its a must that i transfer to a dorm if i wanted to be sane the next day for my duty. So because i transferred to a dormitory with no wi-fi or whatsoever, plus the fact that i didn't bring my laptop with me in my first month here there wasn't any way for me to blog~ thus no post at all.. I never even bothered to go find a connection because i was too lazy. I still probably wont be blogging regularly like i used to, but still this is better than no update at all~ I do love this blog after all..
All the pictures i will be posting from here is taken from Nikon 3100. To be honest i still haven't figured out how to use it properly, and from all the blurry pictures i take you can guess how much i miss the old camera~ (which i can't find). I think the Sony one is wayyyy better than this Nikon im currently using. *shrug*
Okay so here's my current bed.. the only picture i'm gonna share though~
This is how the hospital looks during the night~ :3

Nivea haul
Stocked up on my Nivea necessities.. haha see how much i love this brand~? lol.. Eversince i tried The smallest Extra whitening cell repair and protect that i got as a prize from the Face affair challenge, i was hooked, so i got the biggest container so i wont run out of it easily! It leaves my skin feeling smooth and not sticky~. I haven't actually tried their Whitening toner before, but i guess i will soon. :D Got another tube of my favorite cleanser though i haven't finished my first one yet, there's still about half the tube left i think? And the Extra whitening deodorant is something ive been using for years~ :D Yay for Nivea~ I should make a review of these when i'm not doing anything.. haha..
Also got a few other 'needed' stuff.. i just realized that most of the stuff i bought are pink.. lol..

Delirium
Book description:
There was a time when love was the most important thing in the world. People would go to the end of the earth to find it. They would tell lies for it. Even kill for it. Then, at last, they found the cure. Now, everything is different. Scientists are able to eradicate love, and the government demands that all citizens receive the cure upon turning eighteen. Lena Haloway has always looked forward to the day when she'll be cured. A life without love is a life without pain: safe, measured, predictable, and happy. But then, with only ninety-five days left until her treatment, Lena does the unthinkable.
Yay! I finally got my copy of Delirium~ and its on sale too! Only got it for Php 252.00 from its original price of Php 315.00. The only thing that disappointed me a bit was the fact that Pandemonium was on sale then too! If only i had waited for a few days before buying it i couldve bought it for 315.00 instead of 395.00.. *sigh* Oh well~
Anyway, there were LOTS of Delirium and Pandemonium at National bookstore when i went the other day and i also remember being surprised when i saw that it even has its own shelf all to its own! When my friend who's name was also Lauren (same as the author) pointed this tiny sign above the books saying that Lauren Oliver would be having a book signing here in the Philippines at March 25! I WAS SOOO EXCITED~ especially i eventually got to read it that i even took the sign off the shelf just to get a better picture off it. As of right now i have no idea on what my schedule would be on that day but hopefully i could get an off then. *prays*

Nikon S3100
My dad just came back yesterday and gave me a cam. It’s not exactly the model I wanted, but then he doesn’t
know what it is I want since I never told him in the first place. At least I
have my own now~ yay! *poor* and this would do since I don’t have enough money
to buy the one I want right now.. haha. He even picked a pink one~ :D.
Okay so
here’s the camera, I already attached the strap to it.
It’s just a
plain point and shoot one with 5X zoom and 14 mp.
It came
with a quick start guide, user manual (printed and the other one on CD),
Installer CD, and warranty.
A bunch of
usual accessories included..
As of right now I can’t really say much
about the camera and its quality since I had just gotten it, plus I’m pretty
illiterate when it comes to technical terms. I think the quality of the
pictures ive taken were pretty good though, its just that there weren’t much
settings I can tweak unlike with my sony w230, which in my opinion is so much
easier to use. Maybe in time when im a lot more used to using this camera I
could say that I like it more and give it a much better review. :)
Greatest Hits Tour/ A1, Blue and Jeff Timmons
As ive
stated in my previous post, I went to The Greatest Hits Tour last February 25
at the Araneta Coliseum. I had known about this event since last year and was
really really excited about going here since I’ve never once seen A1 perform
live in my almost 12 years of being their fan (they disbanded about two year
after I became a fan and I wasn’t allowed to go to concerts before because I
was too young). Anyway so I went with my friend Joanne and we only bought our
tickets at the venue itself since we were both busy and haven’t decided what
tickets to buy yet (plus the limited budget too of course! *wink wink*). We
bought Upper B tickets, second cheapest.. lol.. but I think we still had a
pretty good view, not as good as the one the patrons had of course but still
better, and thank god I brought my binoculars with me then. And I forgot to
mention that there was this big screen in front of us~ :D
I didn’t take note of the setlist that each artist sung
because I just went with the flow and enjoyed everything. I think this is what
people should do during concerts instead of taking videos and pictures the
whole time (I admit to doing that before though, haha..). Anyway so Jeff
started the concert and performed about 5 songs, 4 of which I’m familiar with
(South Border’s Rainbow being one of the song). I think it was during his
second song that he picked this one girl from the audience and pulled her to
the stage. Then he went on and kneeled in front of her, hugged her, sang with
her and lots of other stuff. The audience kept on screaming and my friend was
really jealous of the girl, not me though because I wasn’t really into 98
degrees nor Jeff, but that girl was seriously LUCKY.
A1 was the second to perform. There was a few minutes
break just before they performed because the stage and the equipments had to be
set up again, I’m guessing that each bought their own. I WAS SO HAPPY WHEN THEY
CAME ON STAGE. I sang to their every song except the new ones because I wasn’t
familiar with those yet, but I love those too just the same~. They sang all
their greatest hits (not the whole song though, mostly just the chorus) and I
kept wishing for the whole thing to go on forever. Out of all the set, theirs
was the longest, and I was really grateful for that! I recorded most off their
set but I wasn’t holding onto my camera, I put it over the ledge in front of
us, good thing it didn’t fall with all the people that passed In front of us. I
was just screaming and singing the whole time. And then during like a rose, Ben
had the cameraman come on stage so his face was on screen the whole time!!! He
also pulled this girl from the audience and she was by his side while he was
singing *JEALOUSSS!!*, I think the girl even got to kiss him too~! Wahhhhh
o___o wasn’t t sure though, but Ben looked really surprised then but he was
smiling~ I think he was thinking “ohh, youre sneaky~ haha..”
Blue was the last to perform. I thought their set was
going to be as long as A1’s but it was surprisingly much shorter. They didn’t
have a band behind them unlike with Jeff and A1 and they performed their songs
while dancing, which I guess made it a lot more fun (A1’s set was still the
best for me though *biased*). They first sung their ballads then they went
inside for a bit and changed from wearing their suits to a more comfortable and
hip outfits. Joanne and I went to the empty seats during Blue’s set so were
more comfortable to dance along with the songs then.. haha.. They also showed
the teaser for their new song coming out this summer.
I was
really sad that the audience didn’t ask for an encore. Maybe they didn’t know
that we could do that? or am i the only one assuming that that's possible?
As we were about to leave I saw the
stands outside where they were selling A1’s new album as well as Blue’s
greatest hits album. A1’s were sold out and I was really really disappointed
when I learned that the albums they were selling were signed ones!! L If only I knew I would’ve bought myself a copy in a
heartbeat! *Sigh* And when I got on to the internet I saw from MCA’s facebook
page that A1 had a meet and greet too! I WASN’T AWARE OF THAT! *CRIES* Now I’m
just praying that they come back here again and have a meet and greet again as
well. Anyway, I really had fun during
the concert and would do it over and over and over again if I could~!
My Prize~
Remember how I won as one of Nivea’s
daily winner for the fair affair challenge last December? I only got my prize
last Tuesday (Feb 28) because I kept on procrastinating on getting it before until I
eventually forgot about it. Fortunately a friend asked me about it a week ago so
I immediately contacted Nivea and inquired whether I could still get the prize,
the said yes but only until the 29th of this month. So since I had
free time last Tuesday I decided to go on and get it already.
I initially had no idea where their
office was so thank god for all the directions they had given me plus the awesomeness of google map~ I have no car and can’t risk commuting and
getting lost so I only walked til I reached their office. You can imagine how
haggard looking I was when I reached it because I didn’t realize that it was
that far from the main highway.. orz. I only had to sign something and show
them a valid ID then finally got my prize. I immediately went home after~ :D
Being a daily winner I won Php1000
worth of Nivea and Majolica Majorca products. The paper bag I got from them
contains these four products (below): Nivea Extra Whitening Cell Repair &
Protect (125ml), Nivea Visage Sparkling White Acne oil control (25ml), Nivea
Extra Whitening Deodorant (25ml) and Majolica Majorca’s Honey Pump Gloss Neo.
